FEMA Flood Zones

For anyone interested, here is where Oyster Harbor sits in the FEMA Flood Zone map. Flood insurance and premiums are affected by your home's location within the flood zones. So is rain runoff and permit applications.

The Three OHCA Piers

Oyster Harbor provides three locations for boats to be launched, stored, and moored within the community; Fishing Creek road, Washington Avenue Ramp, and Booker Road Pier. Slip space is available as a one year lease, for the cost of $2 per foot per month ($24/foot/yr). Floating Dock Dinghy Spaces are available at $144 per year for dinks or small kayaks or sailboats that can fit in them. Dry Dinghy storage is available on a first come, first serve basis – with all boats in the racks are required to have OHCA stickers on them. Stickers can be obtained by contacting the Community Manager at manager@oysterharbor.org. Dinghy and boat launching can be done at all three locations for small boats, and at only the Washington Street Ramp (Pier 2) for boats on trailers.
